The Hussar coat is a knee-length, semi-fitted tweed coat with inseam pockets, a luxurious dark maroon silk lining and a cloth belt. The contrasting front panels and the sleeve cuffs are made from silk taken from a very unusual antique silver sari. The undercollar and front facings are made from a contrasting part of that same antique silver sari. The grey Harris Tweed sets off the beautiful sari perfectly – a wonderful combination.
This is an elegant coat to be worn with panache, the collar standing up to show the undercollar, either with the coat unbelted or with the belt tied to one side. This size 12 coat is one of a kind.Anna is 5ft 7ins tall and is a size 12.
