Scarves

All scarves are two metres in length and approximately twenty three centimetres wide. They have a short fringe along the length of the scarf and a deep fringing on the width. I use the fringing to show the colours in the warp and weft of the tweed which are usually contrasting. Every time I see a new tweed I make a scarf out of it to see how the tweed works.Loch Roag designs uses tweed from Harris Tweed Hebrides, a unique tweed that has to be woven in the weaver's shed at their home on the island of Lewis & Harris. This tweed is the only tweed that has it's own Act of Parliament and to prove that the tweed is genuine, each metre is stamped by The Harris Tweed Authority. Loch Roag Designs scarves are only available from this website and are not for sale anywhere else ... your scarf is unique!
